Nurturing Young Minds for a Brighter Tomorrow

At Edoma Iyawot Academy, children learn to think, build, and lead. We pair a rigorous academic foundation with technology from the very first year, in classrooms small enough for every child to be known by name.

Welcome to the Academy

A school where curiosity is taken seriously

We founded Edoma Iyawot Academy on a simple conviction: a child who is trusted with real tools, real questions, and real responsibility will rise to meet them.

Our pupils code before they can spell perfectly. They debate before they can write essays. They plant gardens, run assemblies, and take their turn presenting to the whole school. Academic results follow, but they are the by-product of a child who has learned to think, not the point of it.

Every classroom holds no more than eighteen children. Every teacher is certified and continues training each term. Every parent is invited into the conversation, not just the report card.

Why Parents Choose Us

Six reasons families stay with us from nursery to graduation

Qualified Teachers

Every teacher holds a recognised teaching qualification and completes professional development each term. Nine in ten have been with us over three years.

Safe Learning Environment

Gated campus, vetted staff, CCTV throughout, a full-time nurse, and a signed handover for every child. Safeguarding is audited annually.

Technology-Driven Education

Coding, robotics, and digital design from Nursery 2. Not screens for their own sake, tools children use to build things they care about.

Small Class Sizes

Eighteen children per class, two adults in every nursery room. Enough attention that nothing about a child goes unnoticed for long.

Creative Learning

Music, visual art, drama, and design are timetabled subjects with specialist teachers, not the first thing cut when the calendar tightens.

Moral Excellence

Honesty, service, and respect are taught explicitly and practised daily. Character is reported on alongside academics, with equal weight.

Academic Levels

Two stages, one continuous journey

Children join us as young as two and leave at eleven, ready for the best secondary schools in the country.

Nursery

Play is the curriculum. Children build, sort, sing, and tell stories, and along the way learn letters, numbers, and how to be part of a group. Introductory coding begins in Nursery 2 with unplugged puzzles and simple sequencing.

Primary

A rigorous core of English, Mathematics, and Science, taught alongside robotics, digital design, and public speaking. Pupils leave Primary 6 with a portfolio of work they built themselves and the confidence to defend it.
