Unveiling the statue of Late Deaconess Edoma Iyawot

The Edoma Iyawot Academy community gathered to honour its namesake with the unveiling of a commemorative statue of Late Deaconess Edo Effiong Iyawot.
The statue stands as a lasting tribute to a teacher, mother, and servant of God whose life was devoted to educating children and uplifting her community. It is a daily reminder to every pupil of the values she lived by: faith, service, dignity, and the belief that every child matters.
As the Academy carries her spirit forward, the statue marks both a beginning and a promise, that her legacy of love and learning will continue for generations to come.
